Some possibilities include altering one's diet, routine exercise, abdominal workouts, applying cellulite cream and stress reduction.

Perhaps one of the best ways to reduce stomach cellulite and achieve overall better health is to simply alter one's diet. Cellulite is essentially the accumulation of fat, so lowering a person's fat intake is an important first step. This can be achieved by minimizing fatty foods and consuming plenty of healthy items like fruits and vegetables. Replacing unhealthy beverages like soda with water is also helpful.

The next technique for reducing stomach cellulite is to exercise on a regular basis. This will burn calories which will inevitably reduce a person's fat levels. In addition, exercising will get the individual's entire body in better shape and help him to lose weight in other areas. It's usually best to exercise for approximately 30 minutes a day, three days a week. Some possibilities include hiking, jogging, bike riding and swimming.

Another way to get rid of cellulite is to engage in workouts that target the abdominal muscles. Since the fat deposits cover the stomach, working out one's abs will effectively reduce fat accumulation in that area. Some of the most basic methods include performing a series of sit-ups or crunches. These are best done while laying down with knees bent and hands behind the individual's head. Over time, people should aim to perform a series of 20 to 30 repetitions two or three times to give the abs a proper workout.

The application of cellulite cream to the stomach is another method of reducing stomach cellulite. These creams are applied topically to help reduce the underlying fat trapped beneath the skin. Most pharmacies and many retail stores carry some type of these creams. Be sure to follow the directions on the package because varying products differ in their application process.

An additional technique for combating stomach cellulite is to work on stress reduction skills. Since stress can lead to cortisol and fat accumulation, it only makes sense to limit the amount of stress in a person's life. Some ways of reducing stress include getting at least eight hours of sleep per night, finding some relaxing hobbies and getting organized. Meditation is also a beneficial stress reliever that works for many people.
