On your network manager resume, you will need to supply prospective employers with your up-to-date contact information, as well as your previous related employment experience. Within this section, make it clear from the beginning which types of networks you are proficient in managing. Provide a comprehensive list of any freelance or consultant network specialist or manger jobs that you have held. You will also need to include the relevant details of your educational history, including all of the institutions from which you have a degree. Include at least three professional references who can attest to your proficiency in managing a computer data network.

The first thing that needs to appear on your resume is your contact information. Be sure to keep this brief, but include your first name, middle initial, your last name, and your current job title, such as Network Manager or Information Technology Specialist. List your current residential address, and the telephone number at which you are most likely to be reached during business hours. On your network manager resume, you should then provide one valid e-mail address, making sure that the address name itself is professional, such as firstname_lastname@domain.com.

The next section of your network manager resume should include all relevant professional experience, including full-time, part-time, and freelance or consulting work. Only include positions that are directly related to your experience managing network systems in a professional, IT-related field. Do not include items such as helping a relative set up a wireless home network. Start this section in reverse chronological order, listing your most recent position first. Try to group your freelance and consultancy work separately from your full-time or part-time work for a single company. Include the name of the company, your title at that company, the start and end dates of your employment, and your salary history for each position.

Include your education history on your resume. Again, list your degrees in reverse chronological order, placing the most recent college or university that awarded you a degree first and working backward from there. Include the name of the institution, the type of degree that was awarded, the year that the degree was awarded, as well as any related awards or projects that you completed during your time at that institution. Unlike the employment section of your network manager resume, include each institution that you attended. The last section of your resume should include the names and contact information of three professional references that can describe your network systems experience.
