What is T-Tapp™?

By K T Solis
Updated: May 17, 2024

T-Tapp™ is a fitness program that strengthens the core, raises the metabolism, works the lymphatic system, and eliminates toxins. The program involves no jumping up and down, nor does it require weights or exercise equipment. T-Tapp™ is a series of sequential movements performed in a strict order that gradually shape the body.

Unlike other fitness programs, the movements demand no more than 10 repetitions each. The program claims that most people can lose one clothing size per month. Proponents of the regimen insist that the workout is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

Most exercise programs require that a person has a large space in which to perform the movements. T-Tapp™ is different in that the exerciser only needs about three square feet (0.28 m2) of space. The signature movements are comprised of isometric moves, linear alignment, and neuro-kinetic flow, and develop muscle density, not muscle mass. Instead of using one group of muscles at a time, T-Tapp™ works multiple muscle groups simultaneously.

Teresa Tapp, the creator of the T-Tapp™ workout, claims that those who follow her program can lose about an inch off their hips or waist in seven to 10 days. This is because the program encourages the body's muscles to cinch and pull up. Basically, the muscle fibers shorten and act as a girdle. T-Tapp™ focuses on core strength and stability. The body's muscle groups are fatigued layer by layer so people lose inches quickly.

T-Tapp™ exercisers say the movements improve posture and flexibility as well as rapid loss of inches. Newcomers to the program perform the exercises every day for about two weeks. After about three months, they only need to do the program once or twice a week.

Followers of the program report that the workout helps to alleviate back pain and is ideal for people who have problems with their knees, hips, upper spine, neck, or shoulders. It is also believed to lower the blood sugar level in people who have Type II diabetes. In short, the program strengthens and cleanses the lymphatic system, contributing to overall well-being.

Tapp is an exercise physiologist who worked for 18 years in the modeling industry, helping young models learn how to sculpt their bodies and develop healthy eating habits. After helping to streamline the bodies of numerous young models, she decided to coach other women on how to achieve the bodies they've always wanted. The fitness program has been featured in a variety of women's and fitness magazines, including Woman's World, Prevention, Fitness, and Woman's Day. Tapp's fitness workout has never been advertised through infomercials, relying instead on word-of-mouth, interviews in the media, and her official website at T-tapp.com.
