One of the jobs that this nurse could have is that of a registered nurse at an assisted living facility. This type of nurse makes sure that elderly patients have a good quality of life mentally and physically. Some of these medical professionals may contract with several assisted living facilities to conduct routine inspections of patient treatment and supervise personnel. At most assisted living places, this person is also in charge of hiring and training certified nursing assistants.

The nurses have to record what medication participants take, watch for adverse reactions, and review case files.
