This part of the analysis can often provide valuable tips in where to place structures or plant crops to take advantage of what the land has to offer, or even how much work would be involved in altering the face of the land to minimize undesirable results from different weather conditions.

Whether evaluating the potential for constructing buildings, planting crops, or even working the area into a park or other recreational space, understanding the characteristics of that land will go a long way in helping to understand if the development project is feasible. Taking the time to conduct a thorough land evaluation ahead of time can save a great deal of money, and possibly help developers avoid making an investment that ultimately does not work out as planned.
