Once you have registered to take the GRE®, then you should prepare for the examination. There are a number of different products to help you get ready for the test, including numerous workbooks and computer applications. The computer applications are often preferable if you are going to take the computer version of the test, as this will best replicate the testing experience. On the day you have scheduled to take the GRE®, you should be sure to arrive early to the testing center. This will allow you to relax and prepare for the test, rather than feeling rushed. If you require any special accommodations for a medical condition, then you should notify the testing center prior to your test date to allow them to help assist you on the day of your exam. You should also be sure you have any documents or information you may need such as a photo ID and the names of any schools to which you want to have your scores sent.
