A curriculum vitae is another word for resume. When you are creating a human resources curriculum vitae, first look over any job postings you are interested in. This allows you to get a feel for what hiring managers are looking for. Be sure to mention any experience you have with employee benefits or acting as a liaison between management and hourly workers. Include any education you have in human resources or business administration.

Start with a career objective, which tells a prospective employer the type of job you are looking for. Keep it simple and to the point. A one-sentence bullet comment such as "human resource manager for XYZ Company" is usually sufficient.

Add a section to your human resources curriculum vitae that highlights your special skills and experience. You could title this section "Summary of Skills" or “Areas of Expertise”, for example. Under this heading, list three or four areas that you have a great deal of experience in or are extremely knowledgeable about. If this includes any software programs, list these by name in this section.
